Overview

Koç University in Istanbul offers automatic merit-based scholarships to outstanding international applicants across undergraduate, thesis-based Master's and PhD programmes — no separate scholarship application. Undergraduates receive merit tuition scholarships of 25%, 50%, 75% or 100%; thesis Master's students can earn 100% tuition plus a monthly stipend and accommodation; every admitted PhD student receives a full scholarship for the duration of their studies. Fall 2027 graduate application deadlines are not yet published on the official pages.

Why it is notable: One of the few universities where every admitted PhD student is automatically fully funded for the entire doctorate, and undergraduates are considered for up to 100% tuition without any extra form. Note: professional (non-thesis) Master's programmes carry no tuition scholarships — apply to a thesis programme if you need funding.
