Overview

The NL Scholarship is the Dutch national scholarship programme — formerly known as the Holland Scholarship — for international students from outside the European Economic Area who want to study in the Netherlands. At Erasmus University Rotterdam it is administered per faculty: the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS) awards €5,000 to one excellent student for a full-time bachelor's or master's programme. It is explicitly not a full-tuition scholarship.

Why it is notable: EUR runs no single central award — each faculty sets its own amount, form, and deadline. The IHS NL Scholarship page is one of the few faculty pages already publishing concrete 2027 dates.
