Overview

A two-year European master's in animal breeding, biodiversity and genomics run by six leading agricultural universities, funded by Erasmus Mundus. All students spend their first year at Norway's NMBU, then move to a second partner university — and the top-ranked applicants get a full scholarship covering fees plus a monthly stipend.

Why it is notable: one of the few fully funded routes into quantitative genetics / animal breeding — a field with strong developing-country demand (breeding programmes in low-income countries is the programme's stated mission). The application also has a distinctive signature requirement: a 1–2 minute motivation VIDEO, titled ONLY with your application number — uploads titled with your name are a classic disqualifier.
