Overview

The Deakin International Scholarship for Excellence gives eligible new international students a 25% reduction on total tuition fees for the normal duration of an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree at Deakin University in Australia. There is no separate scholarship application — every eligible applicant is automatically considered when they apply for a Deakin degree.

Why it is notable: Automatic consideration with the course application (no extra forms), a 25% tuition cut that runs for the whole degree, and rolling assessment ahead of each trimester intake. Naming note: Deakin's international scholarship lineup was restructured from Trimester 3, 2026 — this 25% award is the current official programme under the "International Scholarship for Excellence" name (the older standalone "Deakin International Scholarship" page no longer exists on deakin.edu.au).
