Overview

Oxford's flagship graduate scholarship — 200+ new fully-funded awards each year (230 in 2025/26), open to all nationalities in all subjects, awarded purely on academic merit and potential. There is no separate application: everyone who applies for an Oxford graduate course by the December or January deadline is automatically considered.

Why it is notable: the "no separate application" design means the real deadline is your course's own December/January cut-off — miss that and you miss Clarendon too, with no second chance.
Funding at a glance

What it covers

  • Fully funded: full course fees and college fees covered, plus an annual grant for living expenses for the period of fee liability (normally the full course length). Part-time scholars receive a study support grant for non-fee costs
